Windrose

v0.5.0

Fan control for Apple Silicon

Hardware limit

Apple Silicon Macs with fans, M1 through M5. First takeover on some machines takes a few seconds. If firmware will not hand over, Windrose says so.

Built for Macs under sustained load: local AI, long compiles, video exports. Live sensors in the menu bar, plus manual fan control when Auto is not enough.

macOS 13.0+ · Apple Silicon · notarized

Curve active: 48°C → 1,700 RPM, fans linked

Features

Temperature curves
Drag a temperature→RPM line; fans follow heat.
Restore to Auto
Fans return to macOS control on quit, sleep, or a crash.
Panic
A panic temperature opens them wide first, then Auto.

Where do I install it?
